Downloading
Upon
payment you will receive an e-mail which will provide
your password and download information. Reader download will be available from your member home page. You are also able
to obtain characters or workbooks by clicking the links below. You will
need to have Adobe Reader installed to download and
open the PDF files.

You
will need a password to open and print the download

NOTE: Both readers and characters are approximately
3mb in size and although download is quicker on Broadband
they may take several minutes to download on a dial
up connection.

Password
Upon
purchase of Basil and Ginger readers, characters or workbooks you
will receive an e-mail with your unlock code
(password) for the product/s you have purchased. After
downloading the product you will be invited to enter
the password to enable you to open and print the files.
If
you did not receive or have misplaced your password
you are able to request it to be forwarded to you by
e-mail. To do so simply send an e-mail from the same
address you used when purchasing to passwords@onemsn.com
If that e-mail address is not available please provide
the payment receipt number issued to you by PayPal on
completion of your purchase. We aim to respond to all
inquiries within 24 hours.

Printing
Basil
and Ginger Readers, Characters and Workbooks can be printed on
all standard printers. For best results we recommend
printing in colour or gray scale.
The
paper size should be A4 and landscape printing should
be selected. Standard 80gsm paper is quite sufficient
to produce a reasonably strong reader and is also optimum
for characters.
Folding
instructions are provided on the last page of the reader
file. Readers may be laminated but in most cases it
is not necessary.

Procedures
We
provide information to assist teachers to incorporate
the Basil and Ginger readers into the curriculum. The

Procedures provides word lists used in the program
as well as a reading checklist for recording what the
children have read. The same information is available
